Manchester United have only won one of their last six Premier League games and have remained stuck in 13th position for a while.

Still, the Red Devils have not splashed the cash to improve the squad as they require sales first.

News – Man Utd could offer swap deal to sign £47m-£51m star – Report

Multiple stars are linked with moves away from Man United and one of them is Alejandro Garnacho.

The Old Trafford outfit have been demanding a fee of 70 million euros to offload the Argentine international, but the latest reports indicate, they are now ready to strike a deal for a reduced price.

As per today’s version of Corriere del Mezzogiorno (news image provided below), Man United and Napoli are ‘close’ to reaching an agreement for the transfer of Garnacho in the winter transfer window.

The 20-time English champions have now dropped the asking price to £50.6million (60 million euros), while Napoli has raised the offer to 50 million euros.

So, the difference has been reduced to 10 million euros and as per the Italian news source, the meeting for the South American was ‘fruitful’ and the feeling is that the ‘deal will happen’.

There is competition from Chelsea but Garnacho has already said ‘yes’ to a move to Napoli, who are pushing to strike an agreement with Man United.

In the current campaign, so far, the 20-year-old attacker has so far featured in 32 games for the Red Devils in all competitions and directly contributed in 13 goals (8 goals and 5 assists).

However, in the last 10 PL fixtures, the 8-capped international has neither scored a goal nor provided an assist for United. Hence, it is not surprising that Ruben Amorim wants to cash in on him.
