Varane Real Madrid

Two days ago, we covered a report (via ABC) claiming that Manchester United are ready to double the wages of Raphael Varane to secure his signature.

The latest updates going on in the media seem positive for the Red Devils, who need to strengthen their defense in the summer transfer window.

Transfer: £115,000-a-week man pressing to secure Manchester United move

As per a report covered by Manchester Evening News today (press image provided below), Real Madrid are prepared to sell Varane to Man Utd for a fee this summer instead of losing him for nothing next season.

The British outlet have claimed that apart from the French international, the Old Trafford outfit are also interested in the likes of Jadon Sancho, Declan Rice and for now, Ole has not ruled out a move for Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane.

Recently, AS have claimed that the 28-year-old center back does not intend to sign a new contract with the La Liga giants and is prepared for a change of scenery.

The Spanish source revealed that Man Utd have shown the strongest interest in hiring the services of the former Lens defender and the Los Blancos are looking to get a minimum fee of 60 million euros (£51.5million).

Varane has won four Champions League medals with the recently dethroned Spanish champions and it is not surprising that he is looking for a new challenge.

Man Utd have not won a single trophy in the last four seasons and major overhaul is needed in the summer transfer window to challenge the best of teams in England and Europe next season.
