Transfer: Man United backed to secure signing of “fantastic” £245,000-a-week manager

A few days back, we covered a story (via Football Insider) claiming that the Red Devils are prepared to agree a massive contract to bring the Kaiser to the club on a free transfer.

More recently, Ignazio Genuardi has claimed that the 29-year-old, who is wanted by a number of top clubs, has not made his final decision as yet.

The French journalist has stated that notably, Man United are the ones pressing to sign the former Roma star, who has been a massive hit at Stamford Bridge.

This term, in 26 Premier League starts, the £100,000 a week star (ESPN) has helped the Blues keep 12 clean sheets, on the other hand, thus far, in 7 Champions League appearances, he has helped the team keep 5 clean sheets.

Rudiger is a European Champion and would surely want to move to a club that can offer him Champions League football next season.

As things stand, Manchester United are four points behind Arsenal, who occupy the final CL qualification spot and also have a game in hand over the Red Devils.

We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming months and will keep you updated.
