As per the latest reports going on in the media, Man Utd are considering making a move to finally sign the Napoli striker.

Three days back, MEN revealed that the Old Trafford outfit will try to sign a new striker next year and Osimhen is on their radar.

Moreover, yesterday, La Gazzetta Dello Sport revealed (press image provided below), Man Utd are looking to sign Osimhen, who is a wanted player in the market.

The Italian media outlet have mentioned that Osimhen is the starting forward for Napoli but in his absence, Luciano Spalletti has been able to succeed with players like Raspadori and Simeone.

Therefore, the African star is not irreplaceable in the squad and if De Laurentiis opts to sell him then a fee of £88million will be demanded.

In the current campaign, Osimhen has missed a few games due to muscle concerns but when fit, he has been firing on all cylinders.

So far, in just 9 league starts, the Nigerian has found the net 8 times and provided 3 assists. On the other hand, he has scored a goal in 2 Champions League starts this term. For the senior national team, Osimhen has made 23 appearances thus far and scored 15 goals.

Man Utd need a top young striker to eventually replace Ronaldo. In your opinion, is £88million-rated Osimhen good enough to replace the club legend?
