Moreover, back in November 2022, La Gazzetta Dello Sport revealed the Old Trafford club want to sign Osimhen to reinforce their strike-force for the future.
More recently, reports indicate Man Utd are preparing a big move to finally sign Osimhen from Napoli.
According to Il Mattino, Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle United are already lining up for a big auction to bring the Nigerian international to England.
The Italian news source have mentioned that the representatives of the interested clubs are in action to secure his signing.
The 24-year-old forward’s current deal with the Naples based side will expire in 2025 and he earns a salary of around 4.3 million euros a year i.e. around £73,000 a week.
Il Mattino claim that keeping in view the performances and the current market, Osimhen is valued at 150 million euros. For now, he wants to focus on helping Napoli, who are on top of the Serie A, win the league.
In the current campaign, so far, the former Lille center forward has started 15 games in all competitions and directly contributed in 17 goals (13 goals and 4 assists).
He is the leading goal scorer in the Italian league with 12 strikes and in the last 9 games, the African star has scored 10 goals. At the weekend, he netted a brace and provided an assist to help Napoli earn all three points vs Juventus.
Is Victor Osimhen good enough to finally end the strike-force conundrum at Old Trafford? Should Man Utd pay 150 million euros to sign him?
