If the latest reports in the media are anything to go by then Man Utd are preparing a strategic swap deal to sell Sancho to the French giants and sign Manuel Ugarte in exchange.

Man Utd have been after Ugarte for a very long time and reports in the media have suggested that the deal to sign him is getting closer.

The stumbling block has been the asking price of £50.2million (59 million euros) that the Premier League club have not been willing to match.

However, Sunday World claim if the finances can be agreed of a swap deal involving Sancho, then Man Utd will finally end up getting Ugarte to improve their midfield before the closure of the summer transfer window.

Ten Hag’s men were able to earn all three points against Fulham in the opening PL game, but they were troubled by the Cottagers as they were able to find gaps .

The signing of Ugarte will further shore up thing in the defensive third for Man Utd and they must press to get the deal over the line swiftly.
