Man Utd ready insane ‘offer’ to finally sign £514,000 a year star – Report

Benfica Joao Neves

Manchester United are intent on hiring the services of Joao Neves from Benfica and are even readying a mammoth offer to get the deal done in the summer.

Back in December last year, O Jogo revealed the Red Devils are favorites to lure the teenage midfielder, who earns around £514,000 a year.

More recently, as per yesterday’s version of Record, Man Utd are ready to submit an insane offer of more than 100 million euros to finally convince Benfica to sell their prized asset.

Neves’ release clause is 120 million euros and the above mentioned bid from the Old Trafford outfit could be extremely tempting for the Eagles.

It is stated that the 20-time English champions ‘won’t let go’ of the starlet and are determined to secure his signature.

Expensive defensive midfielders have been in high demand over the past year.

In the last summer transfer window, Arsenal broke the bank and spent over £100million to sign English play breaker, Declan Rice, from West Ham United.

Moreover, Chelsea paid even more than the Gunners to lure Ecuadorian holding midfield star, Moises Caicedo, from Brighton.

Man Utd do have a top DM in the form of Casemiro but the veteran Brazilian is past his prime and has spent a considerable amount of time on the injury table this term.

The former Real Madrid superstar must be replaced in the summer. Should Man Utd spend over 100 million euros to finally sign Joao Neves?
