Manchester United suffered their sixth defeat of the Premier League season last night and now find themselves seventh in the table.
The Red Devils have got a negative goal difference in the league and also in the Champions League and must reinforce their defense next month.
Last month, Football Insider revealed Man Utd are preparing a move to sign Crystal Palace star, Marc Guehi.
Former Tottenham Hotspur goalie, Paul Robinson, has now tipped the Red Devils to seal the signing of the England international.
The retired shot stopper told Football Insider:
“With Marc Guehi, you’re buying for the here and now and you’re also putting in solid foundations for the coming years – he’ll be amazing.”
“Casemiro, for example, is a fantastic signing and one for the here and now, but he’s not going to be playing for Man United in five years. If you get players like Guehi, you absolutely will.”
With Lisandro Martinez out injured, Erik ten Hag has tried to partner the likes of Maguire, Varane, Lindelof and even left back, Shaw, in the central defense.
Still, the conundrum at the back remains at large and must be solved at the earliest or Man Utd may forget about earning Champions League qualification for the next campaign.
Guehi, who is valued at around £60million, has been a top player for the Eagles and already, he has earned nine caps for England.
In your opinion, is he good enough to solve the defensive problems at Man Utd?
