Saul Niguez Atletico

Saul Niguez who is heavily linked with a move away from Atletico Madrid this summer and today, there is another update.

Yesterday, we covered a story (via The People) stating that the Old Trafford club are leading the race to hire the services of the Spanish international in the summer transfer window. The British outlet pointed out that the player could cost around £35m-£40m.

Transfer: Man United confident they can reach agreement to sign £130,000-a-week star next summer

Today, Sport have published a report and claimed that the La Roja star’s exit from the Colchoneros is getting very close and it is highly likely that he will end up moving to the Premier League.

The Spanish outlet have claimed that in the past, Man Utd pushed to lure the 26-year-old midfielder but could not sign him because the current La Liga champions demanded activation of his 150 million euros release clause.

Now, Sport claim that the player’s agents have stipulated that an offer of around 50 million euros (£43million) would be enough to secure the signature in this transfer window.

Saul has got ample quality and experience under his belt. He is comfortable in possession, can play in a high tempo, press to defend whenever needed, and is a top dribbler and striker of the ball.

Our last key signing for the midfield was Fred, who arrived at Old Trafford more than three years ago when Mourinho was in the managerial hot-seat. Ole has not spent a penny to improve things in the center of the park and this summer, he must move to strengthen the department.

In your opinion, should Man Utd offer £43million to sign Saul?
