Another day, another story linking Manchester United with Serbian international Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Yesterday, we covered a report (via La Gazzetta Dello Sport) claiming that the Red Devils are ready to splash a fee of 75 million euros (£67million) to hire the services of the midfielder from Lazio, who value their prized asset at 120 million euros (£107million).

Transfer: Man United very interested in signing £110,000-a-week player – Face competition

Today, Correire della Serra have come up with an update and claimed that there is no talk of 120-130 million euros, instead, a fee of 80 million euros (£72million) will be enough to secure the signing of the 24-year-old star.

The Italian outlet have mentioned that Lazio president, Lotito, and sporting director, Tare, met with Milinkovic-Savic’s agent Mateja Kezman to discuss the transfer. It is stated that Man Utd are hottest on the chase for the former Genk man, their leaders have been in contact with the player’s representative and an offer could be made.

In the 2017-18 season, the Serbian international netted 12 goals in 33 league starts for Lazio but in the last campaign, his form dipped big time and he only scored 5 goals in 29 league starts.

Correire della Serra have stated that last year, Milinkovic-Savic was thinking about leaving the Italian side but it did not happen. Therefore, his mental condition was not right and he could not perform up to the mark. Now, it is mentioned that the player still wants to leave and Lazio are willing to fulfill his demand if the price is right, however, he is also ready to stay with the right frame of mind.

Manchester United’s record signing Paul Pogba is linked with a move away from Old Trafford and The Sun have recently revealed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to hold on to the World Cup winning midfielder.

As confirmed by super agent Mino Raiola, we know that the French international wants to leave United (The Times).

In your view, should the Red Devils keep Pogba knowing that he does not want to stay?

  1. Yes

I agree 100% that Pogba must leave United. Keeping him on wont do United any good as Pogba will deliberately not play well and put in bad performances. Get rid of him

  2. Pogba must leave Manchester United, He is a very arrogant and stubborn player, we need well disciplined players not big headed players like Pogba

  3. Pogba should stay. He is our best player so far. Leaving Manchester is a catastrophic in as far as securing a Title for the club. It is the least thing the club should hear or tolerate. I like his strength and determination. Now that we have new signings, Pogba should take Manchester to the next level. The management should respect and support him. We don’t need to hear frustrations meted on this noble centre guru. He should stay.
