“It’s all agreed” – Romano reveals terms Man Utd have secured to get signing done

Joshua Zirkzee is expected to become the first signing of the summer transfer window for Manchester United, as per Fabrizio Romano.

The renowned Italian journalist has revealed that the 23-year-old striker has agreed personal terms of a five year contract with Man Utd.

Transfer: Man Utd reject £84.5m signing, now ready to secure £50.7m destroyer

Writing in his Daily Briefing, Romano stated:

“For now, United are still discussing this point, as soon as they clarify this the deal will get done. So it’s just a matter of time, we can just wait for Man United to decide soon which way they want to follow. But it’s all agreed with Zirkzee for a five-year contract, valid until June 2029, he’s waiting for Man United.”

“Let’s see what the clubs agree, but after the Euros it could be soon that we see Zirkzee become the first new signing of the INEOS era.”

The transfer expert has not revealed any figures of the contract but reports earlier this month have indicated that Man Utd are prepared to offer a deal of around £98,000 a week.

If Zirkzee has secured the above mentioned deal with Man Utd then the entire worth of his five year contract would be over £25million.

With Netherlands out of the European Championships last night, we can expect the transfer to progress towards completion very soon.

England scored an injury time winner against the Oranje and Zirkzee was only brought on to the field after Watkins found the net.

The Bologna striker made two appearances at Euro 2024 for mere minutes and was therefore unable to leave his mark.

Let’s hope he’d prove to be top class for Manchester United next season.
