The famous German media outlet have mentioned that Frimpong, whose current deal with Bayer Leverkusen will expire in 2025, would cost around £52.6m (60 million euros).

The 22-year-old has been brilliant for the Bundesliga side in the right back / right midfielder role.

In the current campaign, so far, he has made 33 appearances and directly contributed in 15 goals (7 goal and 9 assists) in all competitions.

On the other hand, Old Trafford right backs, Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, have directly contributed in a combined 5 goals under Ten Hag this season.

So, the 20-time English champions surely need a fullback who has proven track record going forward.

Earlier this month, German journalist, Christian Falk, revealed that Frimpong is getting closer to signing for Man United.

The youngster was part of the Netherlands World Cup squad but did not make a single appearance as Louis van Gaal preferred Denzel Dumfries, who is also on the radar of the Red Devils.

In your view, who should Man Utd sign to improve the right back position in the squad?
